I was inspired by:

to orginize my embriodery floss.
We have been making valetines for soldiers. You can too!
for more information go to http://www.citizensam.org/html/specialproject.html.
Materials:
small amounts of yarn in red and white (or colors of your choice)
matching crochet hook
With white, make a chain as long as you want the garland to be, fasten off.
Join red a few chains over from the start of you chain (ch 3, sl st in the same chain) twice, fasten off. This makes one heart.
Work hearts evenly spaced across chain (skipping 15 chain between hearts works well but you can space them as close together or as far apart as you wish).
When all the hearts at the top of the chain have been worked, flip the chain over and repeat the process. You now have hearts on either side of your chain.
Here is a pattern for a crocheted heart it is cute glued to a card. You can also make it into a pin.
Ch 2.
ROW 1: 2 sc in 2nd chain from hook-2 sc.
ROW 2: Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in each sc across-4 sc.
ROW 3: Ch 1, turn, sc in first 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in last sc-5 sc
ROW 4: Ch 1, turn, sc in first sc, 4 dc in next sc, sl st in next sc, 4 dc in next sc, sc in next sc-11 st
Do not turn, pivotto work around lower edges of heart, work sc evenly spaced around lower edges of heart, working 2 sc in lower point; join with sl st in first sc of Row 4.

We camped in our living room last night.
"Have regular hours for work and play; make each day both useful and pleasant, and prove that you understand the worth of time by employing it well. Then youth will be delightful, old age will bring few regrets, and life will become a beautiful success." - Louisa May Alcott
We delivered the snowmen yesterday.
Spencer's almost as tall as grandma!
I went to buy more wool and accientally got wool/silk for the wool price. So I am spinning that.
Here is the 8 ounces of wool I spun.
Hanna found out that pressing the spritz cooky press inserts on unbaked cookies made pretty designs.
“It was a cheerful, hopeful letter, full of … fatherly love …’I know… that they will be loving children to you, will do their duty faithfully, fight their bosom enemies bravely, and conquer themselves so beautifully that when I come back to them I may be fonder and prouder than ever of my little women.’” Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
I am thirteen years old living in a Christian Homeschooling family with my Mother, my father, my sister Hanna (9) and my brother Spencer (10).
We are currently going through the adoption process, hoping to adopt an infant from somewhere in the United States, praying and trusting God that he has the right child/children for our family.
