4th of July Musical

"Bad men cannot make good citizens. It is when a people forget God that tyrants forge their chains."
Patrick Henry

On Sunday we went to the Wissmans 4th of July Musical.

Righteousness exalts a nation,
but sin is a disgrace to any people.

Carding Combs

I found these at Venice Antiques. The price tag said "Wool Carding Combs $12.50" on one side and "Wool Carding Combs $5.50" on the other side. They gave them to me for $5.50.
They are old and I don't know weather they will work or not, but carding combs are usually over $20.00.

At The River

At The Seaside

When I was down beside the sea
A wooden spade they gave to me
To dig the sandy shore,
My holes were empty like a cup,
In every hole the sea came up,
Till it could come no more.

-Robert Louis Stevenson

A Little Woman

“It was a cheerful, hopeful letter, full of … fatherly love …’I know… that they will be loving children to you, will do their duty faithfully, fight their bosom enemies bravely, and conquer themselves so beautifully that when I come back to them I may be fonder and prouder than ever of my little women.’” Little Women by Louisa May Alcott

Becca

I am thirteen years old living in a Christian Homeschooling family with my Mother, my father, my sister Hanna (9) and my brother Spencer (10).

We are currently going through the adoption process, hoping to adopt an infant from somewhere in the United States, praying and trusting God that he has the right child/children for our family.
