Psalm 5:11

11 But let all who take refuge in you be glad;
let them ever sing for joy.
Spread your protection over them,
that those who love your name may rejoice in you.

Fun at the Zoo

Dad took the day off yesterday and we went to the zoo.
We split up and Hanna spent 2 hours in the aquarium with mom.

"You can't be in London for long without going to the Zoo. There are some people who begin the Zoo at the begining, called WAYIN and walk quickly as they can past every cage until they get to the one called WAYOUT, but the nicest people go straight to the animal they love the most and stay there."

Finishing Touches on my Room

This is from Grandma Mary and Grandpa Richard, it was made by Grandpa Richard's mother, Pat Thayer.

The sewing basket is from Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Clyde.
Spencer helped me assemble it (I should probably just say Spencer assembled it), and it matches my room nicely.
The needlepoint here is by my Great Great Grandma O'Donnell.

County Fair

We went to the county fair on Wednesday night.

My baby sweater got a purple ribbon and is going to state!

Hanna's picture got a purple ribbon...

...and so did Spencer's.

All the leather working got blues.
My rolls and Spencer's snack mix got blues also.

The order of the ribbons is
Purple
Blue
Red

A Little Woman

“It was a cheerful, hopeful letter, full of … fatherly love …’I know… that they will be loving children to you, will do their duty faithfully, fight their bosom enemies bravely, and conquer themselves so beautifully that when I come back to them I may be fonder and prouder than ever of my little women.’” Little Women by Louisa May Alcott

Becca

I am thirteen years old living in a Christian Homeschooling family with my Mother, my father, my sister Hanna (9) and my brother Spencer (10).

We are currently going through the adoption process, hoping to adopt an infant from somewhere in the United States, praying and trusting God that he has the right child/children for our family.
