After hiking at Silver Dollar Island we went to Officers Gulch. We crossed over to an island on these logs. Island picture… …and back across again.

We took a hike this morning… …silver dollar island… …beautiful scenery on Lake Dillion.

We went shopping in Silverthorn and played in the river that goes through Breckenridge yesterday.

We drove over Boreas pass today… …it’s 2 weeks earlier than the aspen leaves usually start to turn… …stopped to eat lunch by the stream… …picked aspen leaves to press… …a very restful day, especially after yesterday!

We took a 0.8 mile hike today. Lake Dillion We saw lots of chipmunks. One of them even got on my shoes. I didn’t get a picture though.

Busily packing to hopefully leave for Colorado in the morning. We are driving home on the 12th. We will bring the computer so I hope to post while we are gone.
