A Little Woman

A flower is a beautiful sight,

When I see it in the light,

But when I have to go inside,

I'll still see it by my side.

When I wake up in the morning,

I'll go outside and see,

My little flower friend,

As light as it can be.

But when it starts to rain ,

I'll have to go inside again.

I'm looking out the window pane,

I see the merry rain,

Dropping, drooping on my lane.

Today is Spencer's 11th birhday.
Spencer became a Christian this year after reading Psalm 1.
We have enjoyed seeing him grow in the Lord.

Blessed is the man
who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked
or stand in the way of sinners
or sit in the seat of mockers.
But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
and on his law he meditates day and night.

He is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither.
Whatever he does prospers.

Not so the wicked!
They are like chaff
that the wind blows away.

Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked will perish.

Happy Birthday, Spencer!
You have turned from the way of the wicked and become the righteous man who delights in the Lord.
May he bless you this year as you continue to seek him.
