China

We have decided to adopt from China.

I am surprised, since I didn’t think this was where we would land, but there is a peaceful feeling of God’s direction and grace.  It is good to know that we are following Him and His plan.

It is rather daunting there is lots of paper work and, right now, China seems very far away for someone you love.  But I know God will be sufficient for all that when we get there.

Thank you all for your prayers!

I love you, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise,
and I am saved from my enemies.
Psalm 18:1-3

    Congratulations! my sister and I were adopted from china when we were ten months old and my brother was adopted through our local foster care system when he was two and we’re hoping and praying that we’ll be able to adopt a 3 year old and his half siblings ( 2 year old twins) through the foster care system, too. so adoption is something that has been close to my heart since I was very young.
    I’ll be praying for your whole family!
