I recentally read Do Hard Things by Alex and Brett Harris. My family also attended the Do Hard Things video conference at Millard Alliance Church this weekend.
Alex and Brett Harris wrote the book for Christian teenagers (though any teenager could benefit from it). It encourages teenagers to use the teen years as the “launching pad of life.” It gives practical advice and encouragement “to do hard things” for the glory of God.
I definitely recommend the book to any teenager, even one that thinks they are already doing hard things. It is a very motivating book.
A Little Woman
“It was a cheerful, hopeful letter, full of … fatherly love …’I know… that they will be loving children to you, will do their duty faithfully, fight their bosom enemies bravely, and conquer themselves so beautifully that when I come back to them I may be fonder and prouder than ever of my little women.’”I am a 15 year old Christian, home schooled young lady, desiring to live a life that is pleasing to the Lord. I pray that my blog is a reflection of that desire.
I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death... Philippians 3:10
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer. Psalm 19:14
