We had a great time in Colorado and I do intend to post pictures, but we have had a busy couple of weeks. And now the computer is down so I can’t access my pictures.
So I thought I would tell you all what we have been up to lately.
Last Tuesday we were planing to go out to Two Rivers with some friends, but it rained all day. Mama saved the day by taking us to Target and the Library (We were all pretty disappointed).
On Wednesday I got to go over to Grandma Mary’s and help her teach a friend how to make a hat. Spencer had Tae-Kwon-Do while I was gone. He got his green belt!
Good job Spencer!
On Thursday we got to have breakfast with Grandma Kathie and went out to Two Rivers in the after noon.
We had our first science Co-op on Friday.
On Saturday Mama and I cleaned out my stuff. Now it is all on half the shelving, so Hanna gets the other half. It always looks so good after cleaning it!
I hurt my foot on Saturday, so, Daddy and I stay home on Sunday morning (he wasn’t feeling well). We had a nice quiet morning and us kids made dinner. Really, Spencer did all the work (I was sitting with my foot up). He and Hanna served Mama and Daddy.
Today we have piano lessons (it’s Hanna’s turn right now), we will babysit for our cousins this afternoon and we have our church small group tonight.
Tomorrow we will go out to Two Rivers in the morning, if the weather is good.
My foot is doing much better. Mama put a comfrey poultice on it a few times and it has helped a lot.
How to Make a Comfrey Poultice:
You need
dried comfrey
Hot Water and
a Paper Towel
Put an open paper towel on a plate and sprinkle about a tablespoon of dried comfrey on it. fold the paper towel so the comfrey is inside and put a couple tablespoons of hot water on it. Then apply it to the hurt area.
Well, have a happy Monday.
