I have been making knit baby caps. I got the original pattern from The natural knitter.
I use size 8 knitting needles with worsted weight yarn.
Make the hat 4 inches or 6 inches four a rolled brim.

Cast on 54 stitches.
Knit 2 purl 2 across ending with purl 2.
Repeat until desired leangth.
Knit 2 together purl 2 across.
Knit 2 together purl 1 across.
Run a piece of yarn through each stitch and tie.
Sew up side seam.

Hat #2

Cast on 54 stitches
Knit 1 purl 1 across ending with purl 1.
Repeat until desired leangth.
Knit 1 *purl 2 together repeat from* to last stitch purl 1.
Knit across.
Purl 2 together.
Run a piece of yarn through each stitch and tie.
Sew up side seam.

The hat you made for our baby is just beautiful! Your work is so nice and the little pom-poms are just adorable! We can't wait to use it and are so happy that you were willing to take the time to create such a special and fun little hat! Thank you!

A Little Woman

“It was a cheerful, hopeful letter, full of … fatherly love …’I know… that they will be loving children to you, will do their duty faithfully, fight their bosom enemies bravely, and conquer themselves so beautifully that when I come back to them I may be fonder and prouder than ever of my little women.’” Little Women by Louisa May Alcott

I am thirteen years old living in a Christian Homeschooling family with my Mother, my father, my sister Hanna (9) and my brother Spencer (10).

We are currently going through the adoption process, hoping to adopt an infant from somewhere in the United States, praying and trusting God that he has the right child/children for our family.
